Job Title: Human Resources Executive – JCK Construction (Pvt) Ltd

Location: On- Site (Bandaragama)

Experience: Minimum 2 years in Human Resources

Overview:

As a Human Resources Executive in our construction company, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing various HR functions. Your primary responsibilities will include talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. This role requires a proactive and hands-on approach to support the company’s growth and maintain a positive work culture.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition:
• Conduct end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and job portals to attract top talent.

2. Employee Relations:
• Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, fostering a positive work environment.
• Address and resolve employee relations issues promptly, ensuring fair and consistent treatment.
• Conduct regular employee engagement activities to boost morale and team spirit.

3. Performance Management:
• Administer performance appraisal processes, ensuring timely and constructive feedback for employees.
• Work closely with managers to identify performance improvement areas and implement development plans.
• Support the implementation of performance management tools and systems.

4. Compliance and Policy Implementation:
• Stay abreast of labor laws and regulations, ensuring company compliance.
• Implement HR policies and procedures consistently across the organization.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure adherence to company and legal standards.

5. Training and Development:
• Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
• Collaborate with department heads to create and implement training initiatives.
• Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and suggest improvements.

6. HR Administration:
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data confidentiality.
• Prepare and analyze HR reports for management review.
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree/ diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and HRIS.
