Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support our accounting department by performing a range of financial tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with the preparation and processing of invoices and payments.
• Reconcile bank statements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Prepare and process payroll on a regular basis.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree/diploma/certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper, or similar role.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
