SLIM takes pride in nurturing marketers for over 50 years as the National Body for Marketing in Sri Lanka. SLIM’s business functions span across education, advocacy, membership, training, research, SME development, promoting entrepreneurship, sustainability initiatives, and National Level events such as Brand Excellence Awards, Peoples Awards, National Sales Awards, Effie Awards and SLIM Digis Awards etc.. SLIM is functioning as the South Asian Secretariat of the Asian Marketing Federation, which is with a membership of 17 Asian Countries and affiliated to the World Marketing Association.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Brand Executive located in Colombo District. The Brand Executive will be responsible for developing brand strategies, conducting market research, managing brand communications, and overseeing brand marketing activities on a daily basis.

Qualifications
• Plan and execute advertising and promotional activities for the brand.
• Manage assigned educational products of SLIM,ensuring campaigns run smoothly and on schedule.
• Develop and execute innovative brand strategies and campaigns to enhance SLIM market presence.
• Collaborate with the design team and external agencies to produce promotional materials.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms.
• Organize and manage product inauguration events,both online and onsite.
• Manage digital and traditional marketing initiatives to engage stakeholders and elevate the SLIM brand.
• Coordinate events,sponsorship and partnerships that align with SLIM objectives.
• Handle all payments related tasks,including processing payments.
• Assist the head of department in planning and launching new product development.

Candidate Profile
• Having bachelor degree in Marketing,Business or related field and being qualified SLIM,CIM,or DSBM will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2years experience in Brand Management,Brand Marketing or Marketing Management preferably in the service industry.
• Proven ability to work cross functionally and experience in managing a brand/product portfolios across multiple markets.
• Creative thinker and problem solver with strong communication skills.
• Self motivated and willing to take up challenges and work against tight deadlines.
• Preferably between the ages of 22 to 30.
