Role will be located in Colombo, SL

In This Role You Will
• Conduct ongoing administration of data layer, application, and infrastructure.
• Support the availability, performance monitoring, and capacity planning for data and application layers using a variety of toolsets.
• A ssist the team with improving the whole lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement.
• Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
• Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
• Practice sustainable incident response.
• Write highly optimized code for CAKE/Mad Mobile products and solutions.
• Proactively continue to build and apply relevant domain knowledge that may relate to workflows, data pipelines, business policies, configurations, and constraints.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electronics / Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2-3 experience in a similar role.
• Previous experience in software development in one or more programming languages.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Hands-on experience in Linux OS/MySQL.
• Hands-on experience in Monitoring Tools and Scripting knowledge.
• Hands-on experience in SAAS (AWS) is plus and basic Networking knowledge.
• ITIL Foundation Certification will be a plus.

This role requires working on rostered night shifts and occasional work on weekends.
