We are seeking a talented and experienced Director of Photography (DoP) to join our dynamic team at SpringPal. As a DoP, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of our brand through film and short-form videos.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Leadership:

● Establish the overall visual style of the production and align it with thecreative vision.

● Collaborate with creative leadership to provide direction to the camera,lighting, and grip teams. Technical Expertise.

● Demonstrate excellent technical knowledge of cameras, lenses, shooting equipment, and digital processes.

● Utilize expertise in camera operations and lighting techniques to achieve desired visual objectives.Artistic Vision:

● Possess a strong artistic vision to visualize ideas and contribute to thecreative process.

● Stay informed about best practices in camera techniques,post-production processes, color, and data management. Content Creation:

● Produce daily reel content using both traditional cameras and phones to showcase our products and brand story.

Production Planning:

● Analyze production scripts to evaluate theme suitability for film andshort-form videos.

● Contribute creative and camera input to create storyboards and shotplans.

● Collaborate with the creative and production teams to finalize keyshoot locations. Execution and Oversight:

● Guide framing, focus, and camera positioning during shoots.

● Experiment and select equipment, lenses, filters, or film stocks toachieve desired effects.

● Oversee lighting and camera positioning before takes, ensuringalignment with creative vision.

● Review raw footage with creative leadership to assess shootingprogress and make necessary adjustments. Logistics and Coordination:

● Coordinate with the Production team to secure necessary equipment for shoots.

● Understand and communicate the creative vision to multiple camera productions.Travel:

● Be prepared to operate outdoors and travel as required for shoots.Job Requirements:

● Proven experience as a Director of Photography or similar role in the film or advertising industry.

● In-depth technical knowledge of cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and digital processes.

● Proficient in the use of both traditional cameras and phones for content creation.

● Strong artistic vision and creative thinking skills.

● Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to workclosely with creative leadership and production teams.

● Knowledge of industry best practices in camera techniques, post-productionprocesses, color, and data management.

● Willingness to travel and operate in outdoor settings as required.
