Responsibilities:
• Patient Greeting and Check-In: Ensure a welcoming environment by assisting patients with registration, updating information, and guiding them through required documentation.
• Appointment Management: Efficiently manage patient appointments, minimizing delays by coordinating schedules with medical staff.
• Effective Communication: Handle incoming calls professionally, providing accurate information about hospital services and procedures.
• Administrative Support: Organize and maintain patient records while ensuring confidentiality in compliance with healthcare standards.
• Billing and Payment Processing: Issue invoices, process payments, and provide seamless support for billing inquiries.
• Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate transaction logs and reconcile daily payment records to ensure financial accuracy.
• Insurance Coordination: Verify insurance details, assist with claims, and inform patients of their payment responsibilities.
• Reporting: Prepare financial reports and alert management to discrepancies or unusual activities.

Qualifications:
• Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in receptionist/cashier roles, particularly in the healthcare sector, is an added advantage.
• Skills and Competencies: Strong communication skills, proficiency with technology, and a keen eye for detail are crucial. The ability to multitask and remain composed in high-pressure situations is highly valued.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance processes, and data protection laws ensures efficiency and compliance in the role.
