Job Description

Role Responsibilities

Finance
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and receipts. Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.
• Budget Tracking and Reporting: Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor and report on financial performance.
• Payroll Administration: Process payroll, including tax calculations and deductions. Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Record Keeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Assist in audits and compliance reviews.
• General Financial Support: Liaise with vendors, clients, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters. Provide administrative support for financial projects.

HR
• Employee Records Management: Maintain up-to-date employee records, including contracts and personal details. Monitor Rotas and provide timely reports on Hours consumed. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
• Recruitment Support: Assist in job postings, shortlisting, and coordinating interviews. Handle pre-employment checks and onboarding processes.
• Payroll and Benefits Coordination: Ensure accurate input of HR data into payroll systems. Administer employee benefits and handle queries.
• Policy Implementation and Compliance: Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures. Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for HR-related queries. Support grievance and disciplinary procedures when necessary.

Requirements

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience
• Degree in Accounting or Finance or HR and CA/ CIMA/ ACCA.
• Minimum 4 -5 years experience in similar capacity.
• Strong proficiency in financial software XERO and HRIS systems.
• Knowledge of UK employment laws and UK HR compliance requirements.(desirable)
• Proven experience in finance and HR administration roles.
• Excellent numeracy and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of payroll processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Benefits

Work Environment
• General Work Hours: 1.30PM – 10.30PM (WFH) Sri Lanka Time – 45hrs/week.
• Remuneration: Gross Salary Up to LKR 170,000/-.
• Location: Remote WFH + Occasional Meets at our Colombo 5 office – Sri Lanka.
