Lanka Rubber Merchant (LRM) was founded in 2020 and is a subsidiary of LASL Group. It is a well-established company that manufactures rubber items and supplies raw materials to reputed tyre companies. We have two factories, located in the Pannala Industrial Zone and Wharaka Ruwawella. And also a business consultancy company at Peliyagoda.
Responsibilities
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, shortlisting, interviews, and offers.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze trends to improve retention.
• Handling employee grievances and resolving conflicts within company policies.
• Work with managers to set and review employee performance goals.
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulation
• Develop, update and enforce HR policies and procedures across the group.
• Maintain accurate employee records, including contracts, attendance and leave.
• Administer health and safety standards, particularly in manufacturing units.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 2-3 years of HR experience
• Basic knowledge of labour laws, payroll systems and HR best practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in HR software and tools
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
Other Requirements
• Office based with occasional travel to the manufacturing units
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-industry environment
• Head office will be Peliyagoda and salary can be negotiable.
