We’re seeking a proactive and experienced Lead Information Technology Project Manager to join our team and oversee the seamless execution of projects from concept to completion.
Job Summary
The Lead Information Technology Project Manager will be responsible for the strategic leadership and successful delivery of IT projects by managing scope, budget, timelines, and stakeholder communications. This role requires a candidate with extensive technical and project management expertise, particularly in Agile methodologies, to ensure our projects meet client expectations and organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage multiple IT projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Utilize Agile methodologies to facilitate project workflows and continuously improve delivery processes.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
• Identify and mitigate risks and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Drive project reviews, retrospectives, and lessons-learned sessions to ensure continuous improvement.
• Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members.
• Manage project documentation, including project status reports, change logs, and risk assessments.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in IT project management, ideally within a remote setting.
• Proven expertise with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Jira).
• Strong technical background and experience with project management software.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated experience managing stakeholder expectations effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification(s).
• Experience working in Software Development Industry.
• Familiarity with a wide range of technology stacks (e.g., Java, .NET, cloud services).
